How to Add a Payment Gateway

Carrier Billing/Mobile Payment in Muvi

Introduction

Muvi helps you set up a Payment Gateway to collect money from your subscribers/users and have it transferred to your bank account. The payment gateways are linked directly to your bank account and hence the revenue that you make goes directly from your subscribers to you! This means you do not have to pay any transaction charges to Muvi, and the money will be transferred to your account immediately. We do not take any extra fee or deduct any fee from your user's payment. However, the payment gateway charges a fee for their service. You can check with your payment gateway to see their fees. You can select any Payment Gateway listed in the CMS. You can add both the ‘Hosted’ and ‘Non-Hosted’ Payment Gateway. If you want to add a Payment Gateway that is not listed in the CMS, then you can add a Support Ticket to add it. We will add the Payment Gateway for you.

Note:

A test Payment Gateway is already integrated during the Free Trial to allow you to test the transactions (to buy PPV, Subscription) on the front end (i.e. in the website, app). You can only add a real payment gateway after purchasing the Muvi One subscription.
Once a real Payment Gateway is added, all the monetizations (Subscription, PPV, etc.) and the subscribers added previously (with the test payment gateway) will be automatically deleted from the CMS.
When the test payment gateway is integrated, you cannot use the real credit card for transactions (to buy PPV, Subscription) on the front end (i.e., in the website or app).
You can use the following test credit cards during the free trial to test the transactions on the front end.
4111111111111111 (Visa), 5555555555554444 (Mastercard), 378282246310005 (American Express), 38520000023237 (Diners Club)

Adding a Payment Gateway

To add a Payment Gateway, navigate to “Monetization” -->” Payment Gateways” in the Dashboard.
You can select the Payment Gateways already listed.
Click on the Payment Gateway, provide the details, and click on "Save".

Supported Payment Gateways

You can add any of the following Payment Gateways at present. You can click on any of the Payment Gateways below to learn how you can add it to your store.

Note: If you want to add a Payment Gateway that is not listed in the CMS, then you can add a Support Ticket to add it.

PayTech	You can accept payments from multiple countries, including Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, and Benin. lyzico	It is available in 12 countries, including Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece, and Hungary.	It supports currencies including Turkish Lira (TRY), Euros (EUR), US Dollars (USD), British Pounds (GBP), Iranian Rial (IRR), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Russian Ruble (RUB), and Swiss Francs (CHF)

Changing Payment Gateway

Suppose you want to change the Payment Gateway. In that case, you need to change it before getting too many subscribers; otherwise, it will be difficult for you to change the Payment Gateway or to migrate the subscribers from one Payment Gateway to another. You need to add a support ticket to change your Payment Gateway. We will change the Payment Gateway manually after getting your request. Carrier Billing/Mobile Payment in Muvi

Carrier Billing (also known as Mobile Payment) is an alternative payment method supported by Muvi that allows users to pay for content directly through their mobile/cellular operator. Instead of using credit/debit cards, net banking, or cash, the payment amount is added to the user’s phone bill or deducted from their prepaid balance.

Currently, we support the following carrier biller.
