You can add the Stripe payment gateway in hosted approaches. Adding Stripe to the hosted approach can also integrate UPI, SEPA, Sofort, Giropay, WeChat, and AliPay on Stripe. You can contact Stripe to enable these payment methods on your account, and it will work automatically with Muvi. Also, if you integrate Stripe in the hosted gateway approach, PCI compliance will be available out of the box.
To add the Stripe Payment Gateway, first, you need to sign up with Stripe. Then, you will get the "Secret Key" and "Public Key" to integrate Stripe into your store. By default, we provide a credit card payment method for Stripe. End-users can pay for their subscription fees or pay for PPV content using their credit cards.
How to Add Stripe Payment Gateway
To add Stripe Payment Gateway,
- Navigate to "Monetization" -->"Payment Gateways" in the Dashboard.
- Click on the stripe.
- Type the Secret Key & Public Key (Which you received after you signed up with Stripe in the corresponding fields.
- Click on "Save".
Note:- This Payment Gateway supports payment methods including Subscription and one-time payment methods, including PPV (Pay Per View),
- The payment gateway also supports Credit Monetization
- Stripe is available in 47 countries
- It also supports multi-currency (135 currencies from different countries)
- We support the SCA(Strong Customer Authentication) standard for European countries.
- The minimum amount should be 50 cents with any currency conversion; otherwise, the card will not be processed. For example, Rs 20 will not be processed, but Rs 40 will be processed as the value of Rs 40 is greater than 50 cents. Most of the Indian debit cards will not be processed if the user has not enabled international transactions from the bank.
- You can create a Sandbox Account to test your payment gateway. After creating the sandbox account, you need to provide us with the details (i.e., Public Key and "Secret Key") to integrate the sandbox account in CMS.
