Introduction

You can integrate M-Pesa as a hosted payment gateway. By integrating the Payment Gateway, you can accept payments from your end-users via the M-Pesa mobile numbers in Kenya. M-Pesa supports USSD-based payment modes.

How to Integrate M-Pesa Payment Gateway

• To add M-Pesa Payment Gateway, navigate to "Monetization" -->"Payment Gateway" in the CMS.
• Click on M-Pesa (see the below screenshot).
• Type the “Consumer Key”, “Consumer Secret”, “Pass Key”, and “Business Short Code” (which you received after you signed up with M-Pesa) in the corresponding fields.
• Click on "Save". The payment gateway will be integrated.

How End-Users Pay Via M-Pesa

When the end-users select the monetization method (i.e., PPV) and click on “Proceed to Checkout”, they will be prompted to type their M-Pesa mobile number and click on “Pay Now” (see the below screenshot).
