How to Integrate Paystack Payment Gateway

Introduction

You can integrate Paystack as a hosted payment gateway to accept payments from your end-users based in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire), and/or Kenya.

How to Integrate Paystack Payment Gateway

To add Paystack Payment Gateway,

Navigate to "Monetization" -->"Payment Gateway" in the CMS.
Click on Paystack (see the below screenshot).
Select the “Country”, from the drop-down menu (i.e., Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) or Kenya)
Type the “Public Key” and “Secret Key” (which you received after you signed up with Paystack) in the corresponding fields.
Click on "Save". The payment gateway will be integrated.

Note:

It supports currencies from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire), and Kenya. However, remember that the Paystack account must be created from these countries. Otherwise, the payment will not be accepted.
US Dollar ($) is also applicable after enabling the international currency from the gateway dashboard in live mode but not in the sandbox mode
At present, it is available in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, the Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire), and Kenya.
It supports subscription and PPV(Pay per view) monetization.
For one-time monetization like PPV, the payment is accepted from the end-users in the form of Credit Cards, Bank transfers, Bank authentication, and USSD.
For subscriptions, only payment through a credit card is acceptable.
Create subscription plans with the minimum plan amount of NGN 100, GHS 2, ZAR 1, and KES 3. If you create subscription plans below these amounts, it will not work.
Please do not edit/update the subscription plan price.
You can only create subscription plans in the duration of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannually (every 6 months), and annually, No custom durations are allowed.
For the end-users, when they opt for the Free Trial plan, during card authorization, a minimum amount is charged(NGN 50, GHS 0.10, ZAR 1.00, or USD 0.20) for the first transaction, and then they get refunded for the same. For more details, please click here.
Supports "Subscription Renewal".
To process payment, email is mandatory, which means you can't opt for the mobile number registration.
At present it is only available for "Website". However, mobile API is available.
Currently supports "Phoenix Template" only.

By integrating webhooks with your Paystack payment gateway, you can automate responses to various payment-related events. This ensures that your system remains up-to-date with real-time information regarding transactions, subscriptions, and refunds. Following these steps will help you efficiently manage these events and provide a seamless experience for your users.

Log in to the PaystackPayment Gateway site
Go to the Dashboard and navigate to Developers --> Webhooks.
Type the following codes
