With Muvi’s monetization and policy controls, you can offer users a choice between free ad-supported viewing and paid ad-free viewing. This allows you to maximize revenue by serving ads to free users while providing a premium uninterrupted experience to paid subscribers.

How It Works

Create a Free Subscription Plan with Ad-Supported Access

Users who select the free plan can:

• Access all available content.
• Watch content with advertisements.
• Enjoy free viewing in exchange for ad-supported playback.

Create a Paid Subscription Plan with Ad-Free Access

Users who subscribe to the paid plan can:

• Access all available content.
• Watch content without advertisements.
• Enjoy a premium uninterrupted viewing experience.

How to Configure Ads in Content

Creating a Free Subscription Plan

The Free Subscription Plan feature allows you to create a zero-value or free subscription plan for your end-users. This plan will enable users to activate the subscription without cost and access content on your platform. To learn more about how to create a Free subscription plan, click here.

Enabling Ad for Free Subscription Plan

You can make the free subscription plan as an ad supported plan by enabling ads for it using the “Policy Engine “feature (see the bellow screenshot). To learn more about how to enable ads using Policy Engine, click here.

Creating a Paid Subscription Plan

You can add paid subscription plans for your end-users. By adding paid subscription plans, you can charge your subscribers/viewers on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis to subscribe to your content. Disabling Ad for a Paid Subscription Plan

You can make the paid subscription plan an ad-free plan by disabling ads for it using the “Policy Engine “feature (see the screenshot below). To learn more about how to disable ads using Policy Engine, click here.

How End-Users Can Select Plans

• The end-users can view both the ad-supported free subscription plan and the ad-free paid subscription plan on your website/app (see the screenshot below).
• If they select the ad-supported free subscription plan, they can access all content without making any purchase. However, they will watch the ads in the content.
• If the end-users select an ad-free paid subscription plan, they can watch the content by making a payment. However, they will not have any ads in the content.
