How to Add a Single Video Content

Introduction

TrueComply allows you to add various types of video content, including single video content (such as movies, short videos, and documentaries). Once the content is added, you can moderate it using the Content Moderation feature before it is published or distributed.

Adding Content

Adding content is a two-step process. In the first step, you need to add basic content details like title, content type, content format, content categories, and upload the video file. In the second step, you need to add advanced content information like the content poster, moderation profile, etc.

Step 1: Adding Basic Content Details

• To add content, navigate to “Content Management” à”Content Library” in the Dashboard.
• In the Content Library, click on “Add New”.
• Click on the “Edit Icon” on the top to add a title of the content.
• In the “Content Type”, select “Video” from the drop-down menu.
• Select the “Content Format” to “Default”.
• The “Permalink” will be generated based on the content title.
• Select the “Content Category” from the drop-down menu. You can select multiple categories.
• Under “Primary Media”, click on “Add” to upload the video for the content.
• Select the “Encoding Profile” from the drop-down menu. If you have not created any encoding profiles, you can select “Muvi Default” profile. Click here to know how to create an encoding profile.
• Select the “Moderation Profile” from the drop-down menu. If you have not created any moderation profiles, click here to know how to create a moderation profile.
• You can select the video file from your computer/assets.
• To select the video file from the “Assets”, click on “Choose from Assets” (you must have uploaded the video files to the assets).
• To select the video file from your computer, click on “Choose Files” (supported formats: mp4, wmv, mov, flv, vob, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp, mpg, mxf)
• Click on “Save and Continue”.
• You will see a popup regarding the usage of “Moderation Hours”. It depends on your subscription plan. If you don’t have enough moderation hours, you can purchase it from the Dashboard. Click here to learn how to purchase moderation hours.
• Click on “Ok, Proceed”.

Step 2: Adding Advanced Content Information

• Add the “Story and Description” about the content.
• Click on the “Design” tab.
• Under “Poster,” click on the “+” icon.
• You can select a poster from the computer or from the assets.
• Click on the “TrueComply” tab.
• You can review the pending actions.
• Approve/decline the actions.
• You can “Approve”, “Decline” or “Undo” the actions.
• If you have selected the “Auto Approval” option in the moderation profile, then all actions will be automatically approved.
• You can also click on “Approve All” to approve all the actions listed.
• Under “Moderation Report”, click on “Download Report” to download the moderation report.
• Click on “Save”.
• Approved actions will be applied to the video when you save. Rejected detections will be ignored.
• When asked for confirmation, click on “Continue”.
• All the details will be saved, and all the moderations will be applied to the content.
• You can see the shield icon on the moderated content.
• When you play the video, you can see the moderation details on the video.
