Introduction
The Manual Trigger option allows you to initiate content moderation manually for content that has already been added to your platform. You can use this option when you want to moderate specific content after it has been added, rather than applying moderation during the content creation process.
This option allows you to start moderation for existing content whenever required. This gives you the flexibility to moderate content after it has already been added to your platform.
Adding Content for Moderation
Adding content for moderation is a two-step process. In the first step, you need to add basic content details like title, content type, content format, content categories, upload the video file, and add an encoding profile.
In the second step, you can add the manual triggers for content moderation, and you need to add advanced content information like the content poster, search tags, etc.
Step 1: Adding Basic Content Details
- To add content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the Dashboard.
- In the Content Library, click on “Add New”.
- Click on the “Edit Icon” at the top to add a title for the content.
- In the “Content Type”, select “Video” from the drop-down menu.
- Select the “Content Format” to “Default”.
- The “Permalink” will be generated based on the content title.
- Select the “Content Category” from the drop-down menu. You can select multiple categories.
- Under “Primary Media”, click on “Add” to upload the video for the content.
- Select the “Encoding Profile” from the drop-down menu. If you have not created any encoding profiles, you can select the “Muvi Default” profile. Click here to learn how to create an encoding profile.
- You can select the video file from your computer/assets.
- To select the video file from the “Assets”, click on “Choose from Assets” (you must have uploaded the video files to the assets).
- To select the video file from your computer, click on “Choose Files” (supported formats: mp4, wmv, mov, flv, vob, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp, mpg, mxf)
- You can also use the "Feed" option to upload/add content from a Feed URL (e.g., an HLS URL). For example: https://abc.xyz.m3u8)
- Click on “Save and Continue”.
