How to Enable Social Login in Muvi One

Introduction

Social login allows users to sign in or register on your website or app using their existing social media accounts, providing a seamless and convenient experience. With Muvi One, you can enable social login options like Google, Apple, and Facebook for your users. This feature enhances user convenience by eliminating the need for separate account registration and login credentials.

Enabling Social Login in Muvi One

• To enable social login, navigate to “User Management”-->” Settings” in the CMS.
• Click on the “SSO Login” Tab.
• Enable “Social Login”.
• On the popup, select the “Social IDs”. You can select single or multiple IDs (e.g., Google, Apple, Facebook).
• Click on “Save”.
• Automatically, a Support Ticket will be created to enable the social login.
• You must create a “Firebase Account” and give access to developer@muvi.com to initiate the social login enabling process.

How the End-Users Login/Signup Using Their Social IDs

Once the social login feature is enabled, your end users will see the selected social ID options on the Registration and Login pages of your website and mobile app.

• Registration Page: Users can sign up quickly using their Google, Apple, or Facebook account credentials without manually entering their details.
• Login Page: Users who have previously registered using social login can log in with the same social ID.

How to Disable Social Login

After enabling social login, you may need to add or remove specific social IDs over time. For example, you might want to enable Apple Login later or disable Facebook Login.

To manage social ID options:

1. Raise a New Support Ticket:
   • Whenever you wish to add or remove social IDs, you can contact Muvi Support via a support ticket. Specify which social login options you want to modify (add or remove).
2. Muvi Support Updates the Settings:
   • The Muvi support team will update the social login options based on your request, and the changes will reflect on your platform’s registration and login pages.
