Enabling Per Title Encoding

Enabling Per Title Encoding for a New Encoding Profile

• To enable the Per Title Encoding feature, navigate to “Player” -->” Encoding Profiles” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add Profile” to create a new Encoding Profile.
• Type a profile name(e.g., Per-Title, 4k movies, SD movies, DRM videos, etc.).
• Select the “Source Type” to Video.
• Select DRM(Digital Rights Management) you can select “Yes” or “No”. If you select “Yes” then the video will be encoded with DRM. To learn more about DRM features, click here.
• Select the “Output Formats” (i.e., MPEG DASH, HLS)
• Select the “Output Resolution” (i.e., 3840x2160(4K), 1920x1080(1080p), etc.) you can select multiple resolutions. The video will be encoded and stored in the resolution you will select. To learn more about encoding resolutions click here.
• Enable “Per Title Encoding”.
• Click on “Save”. You can create multiple encoding profiles. You can select the encoding profile while mapping a video file to content while adding video content.

Enabling Per-Title Encoding for an Existing Encoding Profile

• To enable Per-Title Encoding for an existing encoding profile, navigate to “Player”-->” Encoding Profiles” in the CMS.
• On the right-hand side of a profile click on the “Edit” icon to edit the profile.
• Enable “Per-Title Encoding”.
• Click on “Update”.
