Introduction

Adding a watermark to videos can help prevent unauthorized use and copying of your videos. You can select the end-user's Email Address, IP Address, Phone Number, Username, Date, and custom text as the watermark. When the end-users play your video, this information will be displayed on the video player.

The watermark moves randomly around the screen. So, it is difficult to remove it or blur it. Also, you can adjust the opacity of the watermark on the player so that your end-users can enjoy the video without getting annoyed. You can change the position of the watermark as well. Make it static or dynamic by selecting the options. If you want to see how the watermark appears on the player, then you can see it in the demo player in the CMS.

How to Add a Watermark

• To enable the Watermark feature, click on the “Security” menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Watermark" tab.
• Select the checkbox for “Add watermark on the player”.
• Under "Watermark Parameter", there are 3 options available to add as your watermark, i.e., “IP Address”, “Date”, "User Email Address", Username", "Phone Number", and “Custom Text”. If you wish, you can add all these options or any combination of them. Select the check box according to your preference.
• Under “Appearance,” select “Dynamic” if you want the watermark to move on the player screen dynamically in a certain time interval. You can select the time interval.
• Select “Static” if you want the watermark to be in a static position on the player screen. You can select the position from the drop-down menu.
• Adjust the “Opacity Level” of the watermark using the slider.
• You can easily view the changes on the right side of the demo player.
• Click on "Save". When your end-users watch the video you shared with them, they see the watermark on the video.
