How to Add Loss Less Audio Encoding Profile

When you upload your audio files to our platform, they are automatically converted to the high-quality FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) format, retaining the original audio quality without compromising file size. This allows you to share your content with your audience in the best possible quality, catering to the discerning ears of true music lovers.

Adding Loss Less Encoding Profile

• To add a lossless audio encoding profile, click on the "Encoding” menu in the Dashboard.
• Click on “Add Profile”.
• Type the “Profile Name” (e.g., Songs, Podcast, Lossless Audio)
• Select the “Source Type” to “Audio”.
• In “Compression”, select “Lossless”.
• The “Output Formats” will be selected to “FLAC”.
• Select the “Output Frequencies”. You can select the frequencies in Kilohertz (KHZ).
• Click on “Save”.

The lossless audio encoding profile will be created. You can use this profile while creating the audio content in the CMS.

Creating Audio Content Using Lossless Audio Encoding Profile

• To create the audio content using a lossless audio encoding profile, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the Dashboard.
• In the Content Library, click on “Add New”.
• On the right side, select the “Content Type” (e., Audio).
• Select the “Group” (i.e., Audio).
• Click on the “Edit Icon” at the top to change the content name from “Untitled Audio” to a name that you want to add for the audio.
• The “Permalink” will be automatically generated based on the content name.
• Select the “Categories & Subcategories” from the dropdown menu. (Click here to know how to add and manage “Categories and Subcategories)
• Under “Add Primary Media”, click on “Add” to upload an audio file for the content.
• Select the “Encoding Profile” from the drop-down menu. Select the "Loss Less" encoding profile you created.
• You can select an audio file from your computer or select audio from the Asset Library (if you have already uploaded the video to the Asset Library). You can also “Drag and Drop” an audio file to the dialog box.
• Click on “Save and Continue” in the top right corner.
• The content information will be saved, and audio content will be created.

The audio content will be added to the “Content Library,” and the encoding process will be started. After the encoding process, the audio will be available.FLAC format. Your end-users can listen to the audio on the front end.
