Introduction
Muvi supports multiple video formats, resolutions, and high-quality source files, making it easy to upload and publish your content. Although various formats are accepted, using the recommended upload specifications—such as MP4, H.264, and AAC—ensures faster encoding, better compatibility, and an optimal viewing experience across web, mobile, and TV platforms.
You can upload video files in any of the following formats:

Maximum Video Upload Size
You can upload video files of up to 30 GB directly through the browser uploader.
For files larger than 30 GB, you can use other supported upload methods such as cloud storage or FTP (if available in your plan). For more information on uploading large video files, click here.

Video Encoding
During the encoding process, Muvi automatically converts your uploaded videos into MPEG-DASH and/or HLS streaming formats for adaptive bitrate streaming(ABR). If required, you can also choose to skip the encoding process and publish the video in its original format.
