    How to Configure SEO Settings for Website

    Introduction

    Configuring SEO settings for your website is essential to improve its visibility and search engine rankings. By optimizing meta titles, meta descriptions, keywords, and scripts for each page, you can enhance your website's chances of being discovered by search engines and attracting relevant organic traffic. In the Muvi One Dashboard, you can easily add the meta titles, meta descriptions, keywords, and scripts for each page (e.g., Home, About Us, Contact Us, etc.) via the Visual Designer (VD).

    How to Configure SEO Settings

    • To configure SEO settings, navigate to “Website & Apps” ->” Templates” in the Dashboard.
    • Click on the "Website" tab.
    • Click on “Customize” to customize the template.
    • On the left-hand side of the VD layout, click on the down arrow icon on the “Home”.
    • You can see all the pages on the left-hand side (e.g., Home Page, Static Pages, Main Pages).
    • To configure the SEO settings of a page, click on the 3 dots on the left-hand side of the page.
    • Click on “SEO Basic”.
    • Click on the “SEO Basic” tab on the pop-up window.
    • Type the meta title for the page in the “Page title in search results” field. (A meta title is a concise description of the content on that specific page. It should accurately reflect the page's topic or purpose while incorporating relevant keywords that users might search for. Keep it within 50-60 characters to ensure it displays properly in search engine results.
    • Type the meta description for the page in the “Page’s meta description in search results” field (These are summaries that appear below the title in search engine results pages (SERPs). Craft compelling descriptions that entice users to click through to your website while providing an accurate overview of the page's content. Aim for around 150-160 characters in length.
    • Type the keyword(s) for the page in the “Keywords” field. Keywords play a crucial role in SEO configuration. Conduct thorough keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush to identify relevant terms and phrases related to your content. Incorporate these keywords naturally into your website's copy, including headings, subheadings, and body text. You can add multiple keywords separated by “,” (Comma).
    • Type script for the page in the “Script” field (consider adding scripts such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel codes to track user behavior and measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts.
    • Click on “Update” to save the SEO configuration for the page.
    • Then, click on “Save and Publish”.
    • You can set up the SEO configuration for other web pages by following the above-mentioned steps.

    It's important to note that while optimizing these elements is vital for SEO purposes, ensure they align with the user experience as well. Avoid keyword stuffing or creating misleading meta information as this can negatively impact both your rankings and user trust.

    Regularly review and update these SEO settings as needed based on changes in your content strategy or industry trends. By consistently fine-tuning these elements across all pages of your website, you can improve its visibility in search results and attract more targeted organic traffic.
