Muvi allows you to upload different types of video formats or extensions to the Video Library. You can map these videos to your content. Once you map a video to content, the encoding process is started in the server. During the encoding process, we convert the original video formats to the .mp4 (video codec - H264) format using FFMPEG.
Note: We support ProRes video format across all devices and browsers for trailers. |
Muvi recommends uploading .mp4 videos to make the encoding process faster. Please check the below table for the recommended video formats.
Resolution | Resolution Size | Video Format | Frames Per Second(FPS) | Average Input Bitrate | Audio Bitrate |
4K | 3840x2160 | MP4 | 30 fps | 16 mb/s - 20 mb/s | 128 kb/s |
QHD | 2560x1440 | MP4 | 30 fps | 14 mb/s - 17 mb/s | 128 kb/s |
