How to Generate EPG in XMLTV URL Format
- To generate the EPG in XMLTV URL format, navigate to “Cloud Playout” -->” EPG” in the Dashboard.
- Under "Generate EPG," in the “Channel” field, select the channel for which you want to generate the EPG. You can select any specific channel or “All Channels”.
- In the “EPG Format” field, select the EPG format from the drop-down (e.g., XMLTV URL)
- In the “Future Days” field, type the number of days for which you want the schedule in the EPG URL. The EPG information in the URL will be updated every time the link is opened or fetched. You can type a maximum of 30 days.
- If you set Future Days = 7
→ Viewers can see:- Today’s schedule
- Next 6 days of upcoming programs
- Today’s schedule
- If you set Future Days = 30
→ Full month schedule is visible in the EPG - In the “Exclude Content” field, select the “Content Duration” that you want to exclude (e.g., 30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc.). The content of those durations will be excluded from the EPG.
- Click on “Generate” to generate the EPG.
- The EPG URL will be generated. Click on “Copy” to copy and share the EPG URL.
How to Generate EPG in XMLTV File Format
- To generate the EPG in XMLTV File format, navigate to “Cloud Playout” -->” EPG” in the Dashboard.
