How to Generate EPG in XMLTV URL Format

• To generate the EPG in XMLTV URL format, navigate to “Manage Channel” -->” EPG” in Playout.
• In the “Channel” field, select the channel for which you want to generate the EPG. You can select any specific channel or “All Channels”.
• In the “EPG Format” field, select the EPG format from the drop-down (e.g., XMLTV URL)
• In the “Scheduled Range” field, type the number of days, for which you want the schedule in the EPG URL. The EPG information in the URL will be updated every time the link is opened or fetched. You can type a maximum of 30 days.
• In the “Exclude Content” field, select “Gaps” if you don’t want to include the gaps between the scheduled content.
• Select “Content Duration” that you want to exclude (e.g., 30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc.)
• Click on “Generate” to generate the EPG.
• The EPG URL will be generated. Click on “Copy” to copy and share the EPG URL.

How to Generate EPG in XMLTV File Format

• To generate the EPG in XMLTV File format, navigate to “Manage Channel” -->” EPG” in Playout.
• In the “Channel” field, select the channel for which you want to generate the EPG. You can select any specific channel or “All Channels”.
• In the “EPG Format” field, select the EPG format from the drop-down (e.g., XMLTV File)
• Select the “Start Date” from the calendar.
• Select the “End Date” from the calendar.
• In the “Exclude Content” field, select “Gaps” if you don’t want to include the gaps between the scheduled content.
