Cookies are small files stored in the user’s browser. These are used to track end-users’ activity, including remembering random pieces of information the user has previously entered into form fields (e.g., credit card numbers, addresses, names, and passwords). Generally, cookies are used to enhance the user experience. They usually interact with the web server or the client’s computer. By showing the cookie message to your end-users, you can inform them that the website will install cookies on their devices, and by accepting the message, they have permitted the installation of cookie files.

How to Create a Cookie Message

To create a cookie message, first, you need to enable cookie messages.

• Navigate to "Website & Apps"-->"Settings" in the Dashboard.
• In “Privacy and Cookies”, select the checkbox “Enable Privacy and Cookies Message”.
• In the text editor, type the cookie message you want to show to your end-users. You can format the text using different formatting options available in the text editor.
• Click on “Update”.
