How to Set the Sleep Timer in the Player

Introduction

Enable the sleep timer feature for the audio player in the CMS to give your end-users a more seamless listening experience. This convenient functionality allows your end-users to set a specific duration for playback in the audio player, after which the audio will automatically stop. Designed to enhance user convenience, the sleep timer ensures your end-users can drift off to their favourite music, audiobooks, or podcasts without the worry of manually stopping the playback, draining their device's battery, or incurring excessive data usage.

Enabling the Audio Sleep Timer

• To enable the “Audio Sleep Timer” feature, click on the “Player” menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Preferences” tab.
• Scroll down and select “Audio Sleep Timer”.
• Click on “Save”.
• The “Audio Sleep Timer” will be enabled, and the sleep timer option will be displayed on the player.

How to Set the Sleep Timer in the Player

Once the sleep timer is enabled, the end-users can set the sleep timer on the player.

• Click on the audio to play it.
• Once the player is open, click the “Sleep Timer" icon.
• Type the time in HH: MM For example, if you want the player to stop automatically after 1 hour 25 minutes, type 01:25. If you want the player to stop after 30 minutes, type 00:30. If you want the player to stop after 5 minutes, type 00:05.
• Click on "Set Timer". The timer will be set.
• If you want to remove the timer, select “Remove Timer”. The timer will be removed.
