Duplicating All the Programs in the Scheduler

Introduction

Muvi Playout allows you to duplicate entire schedules or specific programs for another date. This feature helps in managing recurring programs efficiently without the need for manual adjustments. By leveraging this feature, you can manage recurring programs with ease, saving time and reducing manual errors.

Benefits of Duplicating Programs

• Time Efficiency: Automating the duplication of entire schedules or specific programs saves time by eliminating the need for manual re-entry or adjustments for each program or date.
• Consistency: Ensures consistent scheduling for recurring programs, reducing the risk of errors when manually setting up programs.

Duplicating Specific Programs in the Scheduler

• To duplicate the programs in the Playout Scheduler, navigate to “Manage Channel” -->” Scheduler” in the CMS.
• In the scheduler, select the channel from the drop-down menu.
• If there are no programs added to the scheduler, drag and drop the program from the right-hand side.
• Click on the “3 Dots” on the right-hand side of a program and select “Duplicate”.
• Select the “Target Date” from the calendar till which you want to duplicate the program.
• Click on “Save”.
• When asked for the confirmation, click on “Proceed”.
• The specific program will be duplicated till the targeted date in the same time slot.

Duplicating All the Programs in the Scheduler

• To duplicate all the programs in the Playout Scheduler, navigate to “Manage Channel” -->” Scheduler” in the CMS.
• In the scheduler, select the channel from the drop-down menu.
• If there are no programs added to the scheduler, drag and drop the program from the right-hand side.
• Click on the “3 Dots” in the top right-hand side of the scheduler and select “Duplicate”.
• Select the “Target Date” from the calendar till which you want to duplicate the programs.
• Click on “Save”.
• When asked for the confirmation, click on “Proceed”.
• All programs will be duplicated till the targeted date in the same time slot.
