Introduction

With Subtitle Preferences, viewers get a smoother experience. You can set subtitles to stay on by default, so they appear automatically when a video plays. Plus, with the Remember Subtitle option, the platform remembers the last subtitle language chosen by the viewer and applies it to future videos.

Enabling Subtitle on As Default

Set Subtitles On by Default, so that subtitles are enabled automatically, and a subtitle track is pre-selected whenever a video is played.

• To enable the “Subtitle on as Default” feature, click on the “Player” menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Preferences” tab.
• Scroll down to “Subtitle Preference”.
• Select “Subtitle On as Default”.
• Click on “Save”.

Enabling Remember Subtitle Preferences

You can enable the Remember Subtitle Preferences option, which ensures that the last subtitle language selected (as subtitle) by the end-user will be automatically applied to future video playback.

• To enable the “Remember Subtitle Preferences” feature, click on the “Player” menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Preferences” tab.
• Scroll down to “Subtitle Preference”.
• Select “Remember Subtitle Preferences”.
• Click on “Save”.
