Introduction

The Bulk Import feature allows you to upload multiple end-users into your Muvi CMS at once, saving time compared to adding them individually. This is especially useful when migrating users from another system or setting up a new store.

Downloading Sample File

• First, download the sample CSV/Excel template from the CMS.
• To download the sample file, navigate to “User Management” -->” Users” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add”.
• Click on “Bulk Import”.
• In the pop-up, click on “Download Sample Data”.

Enter End-User Details in the Sample File

Enter the following information in the Sample File.

• User Name
• Email ID (mandatory)
• User Type (Type 1 for “Free Registration” and 7 for “Free User”).
• Mobile number (optional)

Uploading the File

• Navigate to “User Management” -->” Users” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add”.
• Click on “Bulk Import”.
• Click Upload File and select your completed CSV/Excel file, or you can drag and drop the file on the folder icon.

Important Notes

• The email ID must be unique for each user.
• If an email ID already exists in your system, that entry will be skipped.
• Bulk import supports only CSV/Excel files in the given template format.
• Larger files may take a few minutes to process.
