Introduction
Enabling webcam and screenshare-based live streaming in Muvi Live, allows you to go live directly using your webcam and share your screen without requiring any encoder software (e.g., OBS, vMIX, etc.). By leveraging WebRTC technology, this feature ensures a seamless user experience, low latency, and quick setup, making live streaming more accessible and efficient.

Live streams can be initiated in under 2 minutes, significantly reducing setup time and enabling quick engagement.

Adding a Live Stream
- To add a webcam and screen share-based live stream, click on “Live Streams”.
- Click on “Add Live Stream”.
- Type the live stream “Name”.
- Type a “Description” of the live stream.
- In the “Source”, select “Webcam or Screen via Browser” from the dropdown menu.
- You may enable the “Paywall” to monetize the live stream (optional).
- You may enable the “Advertisement” feature to integrate ads in the live stream (optional).
- You may enable the “Record” option to record the live stream (optional).
- You may enable the “DRM” feature to protect your live stream from piracy (optional).
- Enable the “Password Protection" feature to protect your live stream with a password (optional)
- In “Nearest Location”, select the server nearest to your location from the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Save” to save the live stream.
- Once the live stream is added, you can edit the live stream if it is required or remove it.
