How to Create Private PPV Bundles
Introduction
PPV (Pay Per View) Bundle feature, allows you to make a bundle(s) of your content. Viewers (Both Subscribers and Non-subscribers) will pay a certain price to watch a bundle for a particular period of time. You can make a bundle of movies, popular TV series, sports events,s, etc. For example, you can put all the series of Jurassic Park or Spider-Man movies in a PPV Bundle and set a price and set a time period (Like 100 days, 240 days, etc.) for the PPV bundle. Viewers who want to watch the entire series of a particular movie will be more excited to buy these bundles. Likewise, you can create a PPV bundle for TV series. However, you can only add parent content to the bundle. Currently, you will not be able to add the child content or episodes to PPV Bundle. Moreover, you can add Live Streaming content to PPV Bundle.
Note: First you need to integrate Payment Gateway (Monetization -> Payment Gateway) to enable PPV Bundle.
Enabling PPV Bundles
Before creating PPV Bundles, first, you need to enable this feature in the CMS.
- To enable PPV Bundles, navigate to “Monetization” --> “Settings” in the CMS.
- Under “Monetization Model” select the check box “Pay Per View Bundles”.
- Click on “Update”.
- PPV Bundle will be enabled for your store.
- Once PPV Bundle is enabled, it will be displayed under the Monetization menu (Monetization -->Pay Per View-->Pay Per View Bundles).
How to Create PPV Bundles
- To create new a PPV Bundle, navigate to “Monetization” -->” Pay Per View” --> “Pay Per View Bundles” in the CMS.
- Click on “New PPV Bundle”.
- In the "Title" field, type the name of your PPV Bundle.
- Type the name of the content in the "Content" field (add multiple contents and you can also add Live Streaming content).
- Select policy Rules from the drop-down. (If you have enabled Policy Rules, you will see this option)
- Type the "Validity" of the PPV Bundle in the number of days (e.g., 30 days, 45 days, etc.). The validity is for how long the content can be accessed by the end-users once they purchased the bundle.
- Then type the *Price for Subscribers and Non-Subscribers in the corresponding field.
- Click on "Add More", to add more "Validity in Number of Days" and Price for Subscribers and Non-Subscribers.
- Click on "Add" to create the PPV Bundle.

Managing PPV Bundles
- Once you add PPV Bundles, you can see the list of bundles under “Manage PPV Bundles”.
- To edit a bundle, click on “Edit” on the right-hand side of the PPV Bundle
- Click on “Delete” on the right-hand side of the PPV Bundle to delete a bundle
How End-Users Can Buy PPV Bundles
- When an end-user clicks on content that is added to a PPV Bundle, he/she will get a popup to purchase that content.
- If the user clicks on "View Detail", he/she can view the content in that specific bundle.
- Users can select the time frame and click on "Proceed to Payment" to buy the PPV Bundle.
How to Create Private PPV Bundles
You can create "Private PPV Bundles" that you can share with specific end-users via a separate URL. The private PPV Bundles are not visible to other end-users on your website/app when they try to purchase content. These private PPV Bundles can only be purchased when the admin shares the link with the specific end-users. It allows you to reward your loyal customers by sending them a special bundle of content individually and you can create separate private PPV Bundles for corporates to maximize your revenue as well.
- To create the Private PPV Bundle, navigate to "Monetization"-->"Pay Per View" -->"Pay Per View Bundles" in the CMS.
- Click on "New PPV Bundle".
- Type the "Title" for the bundle.
- Search and add "Content" to the bundle.
- Select policy Rules from the drop-down. (If you have enabled Policy Rules, you will see this option).
- Type the "Validity" in the number of days (the validity is for how long the content can be accessed by the end-users once they purchased the bundle, e.g., 30 days, 45 days, etc.).
- Then type the *Price for Subscribers and Non-Subscribers in the corresponding field.
- Click on "Add More", to add more "Validity in Number of Days" and Price for Subscribers and Non-Subscribers.
- In "Visibility", select "Private" to make the PPV Bundle private.
- Click on "Add" to create the private PPV bundle.
*Note: At present, we do not support multi-currency for PPV Bundle.
How to Share Private PPV Bundle URL to End-Users
Once the Private PPV Bundle is created, you can send the URL to the specific end-users. The end-users can buy the PPV Bundle from the URL.
- To send the private subscription URL, click on the "Eye Icon" on the extreme right-hand side of the PPV Bundle.
- Click on "Get URL" to get the link. Then, you can send the link to the specific end-users.
- When the end-users open the link they will see the private PPV Bundle and they can purchase it.
How to Convert a Private PPV Bundle to Public
If you wish, you can convert a private PPV Bundle to a public plan. Once the private PPV Bundle is converted to the public, all your end-users/visitors can view it when they will try to purchase any content added to that PPV Bundle.
- To convert a private PPV Bundle to the public, click on the "Eye Icon" on the extreme right-hand side of a plan.
- Then, click on "Make Public". Once the plan is made public, it will be shown to all the end-users.
