Introduction
You can migrate your TV Apps to Muvi. That means, if you already have the Roku App, Android TV App, or Fire TV App, you can migrate your Apps to Muvi. Once you migrate to Muvi, it will be more convenient for you to manage all your content and App via Muvi CMS.
How to Migrate Your TV App
- First, you need to purchase the Muvi Subscription with your choice of App (i.e. you can subscribe to the Roku App, Android TV App, Fire TV App, etc.).
- After purchasing the subscription, you need to provide the details in the App Publishing form. We will build the app based on the information provided by you in the App Publishing Form. You need to fill up the App Publishing Form for individual Apps (i.e. for Roku App, Android TV App, and Fire TV App).
| Note: For Android TV App and Fire TV App, please provide an existing package name and existing app signing certificate information. |
How Long it Takes to Migrate
Once you provide all the information the App Publishing Form, it takes us 2 -3 days to build the app (your existing App will not be affected. It will be updated to a new version) and then migrate your app to Muvi.
What Happens to the Existing App Users
During the migration process, all your existing user’s data will be lost. Once the migration process is completed, your users again need to download and install the app from the app store and sign up to access content in your app.
