Introduction

If your media files are stored on your own server (local, cloud, or hosted environment) and you want to move them to Muvi’s Asset Library, you can use the Server-to-Server File Transfer method.

 This approach is ideal for bulk uploads and eliminates the need to upload files manually through the CMS. The transfer is handled by Muvi’s technical team after you submit a support request and share the required server access details.

When to Use the Method

Use the Server-to-Server File Transfer method if:

• Your files are hosted on a local or private server
• You need to upload many files
• Direct CMS upload is not practical due to file size or volume

Using The Server-to-Server File Transfer

• This is a manual process. You need to provide your server credentials to our technical team by adding a Support Ticket.
• The technical team will connect to your server using the credentials
• They will transfer the files from the server to Muvi’s Asset Library
• Once the process is completed, you can view the files in the Asset Library (see the screenshot below).
