How to Use the CKEditor in VD to Customize Your Website Text

Introduction

CKEditor is a powerful, open-source, web-based rich text editor that simplifies content creation and editing. Integrated into Muvi One's Web VD (Visual Designer), CKEditor provides administrators with an intuitive and user-friendly interface to manage and format website text directly from the platform.

Key Features

Single Click Editing:

• • Click once on a text area in VD to open the Settings Pane, where you can make quick changes to text details.

Double Click for CKEditor:

• • • Double-click a text area to open CKEditor, enabling advanced text formatting and customization.

Rich Text Editing Tools:

• Formatting Options: Bold, Italic, Underline.
• URL Linkage: Add clickable web links.
• Font Size Adjustment: Modify text size.
• Text Background Colors: Highlight or change background colors for emphasis.
• WYSIWYG Interface: What You See Is What You Get—ensuring changes in CKEditor look identical on the live website.

Save and Publish:

Using CKEditor in VD to Customize the Texts

• To use the CKEditor to customize the texts, navigate to “Website & Apps”-->” Templates” in the Dashboard.
• Click on “Customize”.
• Click on a page (i.e., Home Page, About Us, Contact Us, etc.) to edit the text in that page.
• Highligt the text that you want to customize.
• The float CKEditor will show.
• You can select the option from the CKEditor to customize the texts.
• You can make the following changes.
