How to Save a Content as Draft

While adding content (video, audio), you can save it as a draft. The content will not get published on the front end. You can make changes later in the content and then publish it. Once the content is published, it will be available on the front end.

• Navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add Content” to add content (i.e. video, audio).
• Select the “Content-Type” (i.e., video, audio).
• Select the “Content Format” for video content.
• Select the “Content Group”.
• Type the video “Content Name”.
• Content “Permalink” is automatically generated. You can also edit the permalink.
• Select the “Content Category” from the drop-down. You can select multiple 'Content Categories' from the drop-down. To learn how to create a ‘Content Category’ click here.
• Type the “Story/Description” for the content.
• Type “Search Tags” for the content. After typing the search tags, type the comma (,). You can add multiple search tags for the content that helps search the content easily by the end-users.
• Click on “Media” and then click on “Add File” under “Primary Media” to upload the video/audio file for the content.
• Select the "Encoding profile" from the drop-down. If you have not created any encoding profile, then select Muvi Default. To know how to create an "Encoding Profile" click here.
• To upload the trailer or *"Preview" for the video content, click on “Add File” under “Preview”.
• Click on "Banner" to upload a top banner for the content. Click on "Add File" to upload the banner image.
• Click on the “People” tab to add cast and crew for the content.
• Select the Person Type from the drop-down. You can also create a new type by clicking on “New Type”. Search the name of the cast in the search box and click on “Add”.
• Click on "Add On", to add a file (PDF), video, or audio file with the video content. Select the "Media Type", type the "Label Name" and "Upload" the file. The file (PDF, Video, or Audio) will be displayed under the content on the front end of the content details page)
• Click on “Add File” on the extreme right to upload “Thumbnail”.
• Click on “Save as Draft”.
• The content will be saved as a draft. In this state, the content will not be visible on the front end.
• If you want to publish the content, click on “Edit Icon” make the necessary changes, and click on “Save and Publish”.

How to Schedule Content to Publish Later

If you want to publish content (video, audio) on a specific date and time, then you can schedule it from the CMS while adding the content. The content will not get published immediately, it will be published on the scheduled date and time.

• Navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add Content” to add content (i.e. video, audio).
• Select the “Content-Type” (i.e., video, audio).
• Select the “Content Format” for video content.
• Select the “Content Group”.
• Type the video “Content Name”.

• Click on “Save and Schedule”.
• Under “Manage Schedule”, click on “Publish”.
• Select a “Date” from the calendar on which you want the content to be published.
• Type the “Time” in UTC in HH: MM format.
• Click on “Confirm”.
• Then, click on “Save”.
• The content state in the “Content Library” will be displayed as “Publish Pending”.
• The content will be published on the scheduled date and time.

How to Unpublish a Published Content

You can unpublish an already published content (video, audio). Once the content is unpublished, it will not be visible on the front end. You can schedule a date and time to unpublish content.

• Navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
• On the right-hand side of published content, click on the 3 dots.
• Click on “Manage Schedule”.
• Under “Manage Schedule”, click on “Unpublish”.
• Select the “Date” from the calendar and type the “Time” in UTC in HH: MM format.
• Click on “Confirm” and then click on “Save”.
• The content will be unpublished on the scheduled date and time and will not be visible on the front end.

How to Republish an Unpublished Content

You can republish unpublished content from the CMS. Once the content is republished, it will be visible on the front end.

• Navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
• On the right-hand side of published content, click on the 3 dots.
• Click on “Republish”.
• Under “Manage Publish”, select “Publish” to publish the content immediately.
• Click on “Schedule” to schedule the content on a future date.
• Click on “Save”.
