How to Stop the Channel

Introduction

You must start your Playout channel before making it available to end-users. Once started, users can view the pre-scheduled programs on the channel. If you no longer wish to share the channel, you can stop it at any time—this will halt the channel and hide all scheduled programs from end-users.

How to Start the Channel

• • To start the channel, navigate to “Content Management”-->” Content Library” in the Dashboard.

• In the content library, you can see all your channels.
• To start a specific channel, click on the “Start” channel button under the channel.
• It will take a few seconds to start the channel.
• Then you can share the channel with your end-users using the “Shareable Link”, “HLS URL”, and/or “Embed Code”.

How to Stop the Channel

• To stop the channel, navigate to “Content Management”-->” Content Library” in the Dashboard.
• In the content library, you can see all your channels.
• To stop a specific channel, click on the “Stop” channel button under the channel.
• It will take a few seconds to stop the channel.
• Once the channel is stopped, it will show “Offline” on the channel.
• The scheduled content will stop sharing with the end-users.
