Introduction

The People Library allows you to manage all individuals associated with your content, such as actors, directors, producers, writers, and other crew members. Organizing your People Library ensures accurate metadata, improves content discoverability, and enhances the overall user experience. This guide explains how to add, edit, and manage people profiles in the Muvi CMS.

Accessing the People Library

1. From the left-hand menu, navigate to Content Management --> Library.
2. Click on the “Assets” tab
3. Click on the “People” tab.

Adding a New Person

1. Click on Add New.
2. Upload a Profile Image (Optional).
3. Enter the following details:

1. • Name (Full name of the person)
   • Biography (Optional short bio of the person)

4. Click Save to add the person to the library.

Repeat the above process to add multiple people to the library.

Editing a Person’s Details

1. Navigate to Content Management > Library > Assets > People
2. Locate the person you want to update.
3. Click the Edit
4. Modify details such as name, role, biography, or profile image.
5. Click Save to apply changes.

Delete a Person from People Library

1. Click on the person you want to delete.
2. The person will be selected.
3. You can click on multiple persons to delete them at once.
4. Click the Trashcan
5. When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the person(s).
