How to Integrate Ads into Programs in Playout

Introduction

You can insert ads directly into individual programs in Playout while scheduling your content in the scheduler. Each program can have its own set of ads, allowing you to assign different ads to different programs.

Integrating Ads in Programs

Navigate to “Cloud Playout” -->” Scheduler” in the Dashboard.
Select the “Channel” from the drop-down list.
Select the “Time Zone” from the drop-down menu.
Drag and dropthe content to schedule in the channel.
On the right-hand side of the programs/content, click on the 3 dots.
Click on “Manage Ads”.
Click on “Ad Break”.
Select the “Ad” from the drop-down list.
Define the “Offset” in Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.
Type the “Duration” for the ad in seconds.
Click on the “Tick Mark” to save the ad.
You can repeat the process and add multiple ads to the program.
Click on “Save” to save the ads.
