This functionality empowers you to create MRSS Feed URLs for the content within the CMS, enabling seamless integration with third-party platforms or websites. Using the MRSS feeds generated from Muvi, you can add your content to the default homepage of any Smart TV like Samsung TV, LG TV, Oneplus TV, etc.

The URLs are systematically generated with predefined parameters to ensure a streamlined retrieval of contents in specific feed output formats tailored for platforms like Websites, Google TV, Rlaxx TV, Roku TV, and more. Choose between XML and JSON formats according to your platform requirements.

How to Enable MRSS Feed Export

First, you must enable the MRSS Feed export feature in the Muvi One CMS.

To enable the MRSS Feed export feature, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Settings” in the CMS.
Click on the “Advanced” tab.
Scroll down and select, “Generate shareable feeds”.
Once the feature is enabled, you can view it in the “Content Library” under the “Feed” tab.

Generating MRSS Feed URL for Selected Content

To generate the MRSS Feed URL for Selected Content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
In the “Content Library”, click on the “Feed” tab.
Click on “Add Feeds”.
In “Feed Output Format” select, “XML” or “JSON”.
In “Feed Title” type a title for the MRSS Feed (e.g., New Movies, Action Movies, etc.)
In “Feed Description” type a description about the MRSS Feed.
In “Content Preferences”, select “Select Contents”.
In the “Search” type the content name to find the content you want to generate for the MRSS Feed. You can add multiple contents.
In “Metadata Preferences”, select the metadata you want to export in the MRSS Feed. You must select at least one metadata option. However, you can select multiple metadata options.
Click on “Generate” to generate the MRSS Feed URL.
The MRSS Feed will be generated.
Click on “View Feed” to view the feed.
Click on “Copy” to copy the feed.
To view the “Feed Output Format”, click on the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the feed.
Click on “View Feed Output”. You can click on “Copy” to copy the output format.

Generating MRSS Feed URL for Select Contents with System Defined Filters

To generate the MRSS Feed URL for Selected Content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
In the “Content Library”, click on the “Feed” tab.
Click on “Add Feeds”.
In “Feed Output Format” select, “XML” or “JSON”.
In “Feed Title” type a title for the MRSS Feed (e.g., New Movies, Action Movies, etc.)
In “Feed Description” type a description about the MRSS Feed.
In “Content Preferences”, select “Select Contents with system-defined filters”.
In “Content-Type", select the content type (e.g., video, audio).
In “Content Format”, select the content format (e.g., single content, UGC, Mini).
In “Date Range”, select the date range. This means, selecting a start date and end date of the creation of the contents. So, the content in this date range will be exported only.
In “Content Category/Sub-Category” select the content categories or the sub-categories you want to export. You can select multiple categories and sub-categories.
In “Ordering” select the ordering of the content in which you want them to export. (e.g., Upload Date & Time Ascending, Upload Date & Time Descending).
In “Metadata Preferences”, select the metadata you want to export in the MRSS Feed. You must select at least one metadata option. However, you can select multiple metadata options.
Click on “Generate” to generate the MRSS Feed URL.
The MRSS Feed will be generated.
Click on “View Feed” to view the feed.
Click on “Copy” to copy the feed.
To view the “Feed Output Format”, click on the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the feed.
Click on “View Feed Output”. You can click on “Copy” to copy the output format.

How to Manage MRSS Feeds

You can edit and/or delete the MRSS Feeds you have created.

To edit the MRSS Feeds, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
In the “Content Library”, click on the “Feed” tab.
On the right-hand side of a feed, click on the “Edit Icon”.
Make the necessary changes to the MRSS Feed.
Click on “Generate”.
To delete the MRSS Feed, click on the “Trash Icon” on the right side of the feed.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the feed.
