Introduction

The Thumbnail Seeking feature allows the end-users to preview video frames as they navigate through the timeline. When a viewer hovers over or drags the seek bar forward or backward, a thumbnail appears, displaying the exact frame at that moment. This enhances navigation, boosts user engagement, and delivers a smoother, more intuitive playback experience. The feature is supported across all plans in Muvi One and Flex via the Muvi Player.

Enabling Thumbnail Seeking Feature

• To enable the thumbnail seeking feature, click on the “Player” menu in the Dashboard.
• Click on the “Controls” tab.
• Select the option “Thumbnail Seeking.
• Click on “Save”.
• You can check it by clicking on the demo video player on the right side.
