Skip Forward and Backward is a cutting-edge feature that empowers your video viewers to seamlessly navigate through content. With this innovative solution, users can effortlessly skip forward or backward within a video, allowing them to quickly access specific scenes or sections of interest.

Whether viewers need to revisit a crucial moment or jump ahead to the next segment, Skip Forward and Backward puts the control in their hands, enhancing their overall engagement and satisfaction with your video content.

Enabling the Skip Forward and Backward

• To enable the skip forward and backward option, navigate to the “Player” menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Controls” tab.
• Select the option for “Skip Forward and Backward”.
• Type the skip timeduration in seconds (e.g., 5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc.).
• Click on “Save”. You can see the seek forward and backward buttons on the demo player.

When the end-users watch a video on the player, they can skip the video forward or backward. If you have set the skip duration to 10 seconds in the CMS, then the video will be skipped 10 seconds forward or backward.
