Introduction

You can customize how subtitles will appear on the player. For instance, you can change the font style, font color, background color, etc.  By changing the subtitle appearance, you can allow the users to see the subtitles clearly. If you want to see how the subtitle changes appear on the player, then you can experience it instantly on our demo player in the CMS.

Changing the Subtitle Appearance

• To change the subtitle appearance, click on the "Player" menu in the CMS.
• Click on the “Appearance" tab.
• Under “Subtitle”, to change the “Font Type”, select the type from the drop-down menu (e.g., Sans Serif). You can instantly see the change in the demo player on the right-hand side.
• To change the “Font Size”, select the size from the drop-down menu (e.g., Large, Normal, Small).
• To change the subtitle “Font Color,” select the font color from the color scheme or type the HTML font color code in the box (e.g., #ffffff for white). To find HTML color codes, click on this URL.
• To change the “Background Color” of the subtitle, select the font color from the color scheme or type the HTML font color code in the box (e.g., #ffffff for white). To find the HTML color code, click on this URL.
• To change the “Opacity” level of the subtitle background color, drag the slider.
• You can view all the changes on the demo player.
• Click on “Save” to save the subtitle appearance settings.
• When your end-users play your video on your website/app, they can see the changes on the player you made to the subtitle appearance.
