Introduction

The Referral and Rewards feature allows your end-users to invite their friends to your website/app using a referral link or code. When a referred end-user signs up and completes an action defined by you(admin)—such as making a purchase—the rewards are unlocked. Both the referrer and the referred user can receive rewards based on rules configured by you.

This program works across web, mobile, and TV apps, with rewards automatically applied during checkout on supported platforms. You can manage discount settings and monitor referral performance through analytics. Currently, discounts are the only available reward type. It helps acquire new users organically without increasing marketing spend. Encourages both referrers and new users with simple, discount-based rewards.

How to Enable the Referral Program

• Navigate to “User Management” --> “Settings” in the Dashboard.
• Under “Referral”, enable “Referral Program”.
• In the “Discount” field, type the percentage of discount (e.g., 10%, 20%, 50% etc.) you want to offer for the referral.
• Both the Referrer and the Referred users get this discount during purchase.
• Once the referral program is enabled, the end-users can see the referral option in their profile page on your website/app.

How to Send the Referral Link

Once the referral program is enabled, the end-users can view the option “Refer a Friend” in their profile page. The end-users can either send the referral via a link or via a referral code. To send the referral link/code, the end-user must log in to his/her account.

• To send the referral link, click on “Refer a Friend” under the “Profile”.
• Under the referral link, click on the “Copy Icon” to copy the link.
• Send the link to whom you want to refer.

How a Referred User Signs Up Using the Referral Link

• When an end-user sends a referral link to his/her friend, the referred user needs to open the link in a browser.
• Once the link is opened, the referred user will see the “Referral Code” already applied to the referral code field.
• The end-user needs to complete the signup process
• At the time of purchasing the subscription, the end-user will see the discounted price in the checkout process.
• Once the subscription is purchased, the discount will be applied
• The end-user can also view the discount referral details in the invoice.

How to Send Referral Code

• To send the referral code, click on “Refer a Friend” under the “Profile”.
• Under the referral code, click on the “Copy Icon” to copy the code.
• Send the code to whom you want to refer.

How a Referred User Signs Up Using the Referral Code

• When an end-user sends a referral code to his/her friend, the referred user needs to type the code in the signup page in the “Referral Code Field.”
• The end-user needs to complete the signup process
• At the time of purchasing the subscription, the end-user will see the discounted price in the checkout process.
• Once the subscription is purchased, the discount will be applied
• The end-user can also view the discount referral details in the invoice.

How the Referrer Gets the Discount

• The referrer can view the details of the referred users under the “Referral History” under their profile.
• The referrer can see the total number of referred users and their details.
• The referrer can also avail the discount when purchasing the subscription.
• The referrer needs to select the subscription plan to purchase.
• The discount will be automatically applied to the planned price.
• The referrer can also view the discount details in the invoice.
