Introduction

The End User Playlist feature offers a refined and personalized content experience for your end-users. The feature allows your end-users to curate their playlists by selecting their favorite audio and video content, tailoring the experience to their individual preferences and moods.

With the ability to easily add or remove tracks, end-users can effortlessly keep their playlists up to date, ensuring they always have access to fresh and engaging content. The unlimited playlist and track capacity provide end-users with the flexibility to build comprehensive collections that cater to their diverse interests.

Furthermore, the cross-profile accessibility of playlists enables a seamless experience, allowing users to access their personalized content from any device or platform. As an admin, you have full control over this feature, with the option to enable or disable it from the CMS as needed.

Enabling the End-User Playlist Feature

The end-user playlist feature can be enabled from the Muvi One CMS. Once the feature is enabled, the end-users can create and manage their video and audio playlists from the front end.

• To enable the end-user playlist feature, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Settings” in the CMS.
• In the “Content Settings”, click on the “Advanced” tab.
• Scroll down and select “Allow users to create playlist”.
• Once the feature is enabled, the end-users can view the “Add to Playlist” option on the “Content Details” page and under “My Profile”.

How the End-Users Create a Playlist

Once the playlist feature for the end-user is enabled, the end-users can create their playlist and add the content (video, audio) to the playlist. The end-users can create unlimited playlists and add unlimited tracks to the playlist.

• To create a playlist, click on “My Profile”.
• Under “My Profile”, on the left-hand side, click on “My Playlists”.
• Click on “Add Playlist”.
• Select the “Content Type” (i.e. Video, Audio).
• Type the “Playlist Name”.
• Click on “Create”.
• Repeat the process to create multiple playlists.
• End-users can create separate video and audio playlists.

End-Users Adding Content to the Playlist

Once the playlist is created, the end-users can add content (video, audio) to the playlist.

• To add content to the playlist, click on the content title, to go to the “Content Details Page”.
• On the “Content Details Page”, click on the “Add to Playlist” icon.
• Select the “Playlist” to add content to that playlist.
• Click on “Save”.
• The content will be added to the playlist.
• If the playlist is not created, then the end-users can create a playlist by clicking on “Create New Playlist”.
• Repeat the process to add another content to the playlist.
• The end-users can play all the content in the playlist by clicking on the “Play All” button.
• The end-users can view all the content added to the playlist by clicking on the playlist.

How End-Users Can Manage the Playlist

Once the playlist is created, the end-users can edit it, delete it, or delete the tracks from a playlist.

• To edit the playlist, click on “My Profile”.
• Under “My Profile”, on the left-hand side, click on “My Playlists”.
• You can view all the playlists.
• On the right-hand side of a playlist, click on the “Edit Icon”.
• You can change the playlist name and click on “Update”.
• To delete a playlist, click on the “Trash Icon” on the right side of the playlist.
• When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the playlist.
• To delete a track from the playlist, click on the playlist.
• You can view all the tracks added to the playlist.
• Click on the “Trash Icon” on the right-hand side of the track.
• When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the track.
