Postpaid Account

Introduction

This article explains how Prepaid and Postpaid billing models work in Muvi and how they affect your platform usage.

Prepaid Account

In a Prepaid account, you pay in advance for:

• • The Muvi platform

• Infrastructure usage such as Bandwidth, Storage, Streaming Hours, and more

Monthly Usage Limits

• Your plan includes free infrastructure limits every month.
• These limits are reset automatically on your billing date.
• If you need more usage, you can purchase additional infrastructure at any time.

Notifications for Infra Wallet Usage

Muvi notifies you as your usage increases so that you can act early. Notifications appear in the CMS and are also sent by email.

• When the infra usage limit (Encoding) crossed 75%, you will get the notification (see the screenshot below).

• When the infra usage limit (Encoding) crossed 90%, you will get the notification (see the screenshot below).

• When the infra usage limit (Encoding) crossed 100%, you will get a notification (see the screenshot below).

• When the infra usage limit (Streaming Hours) crossed 80%, you will get a notification (see the screenshot below).

When a Limit Is Reached

If an infrastructure limit reaches 100%, only the affected service is restricted. Other services continue to work if their limits are available.

Examples:

• If Bandwidth is exhausted, streaming will stop.
• If Storage is exhausted, new media uploads are restricted.
• If Streaming Hours are exhausted, live streaming cannot be started.

In each case, Muvi displays a clear message in the CMS along with an option to top up and restore the service.

Postpaid Account

In a Postpaid account:

• Platform fees are paid in advance.
• Infrastructure usage is billed monthly based on actual consumption.
