How to Log in to the TV App via the Mobile App

Introduction

Muvi’s code-based login feature allows end-users to easily log in to your TV App via randomly generated codes. The end-users don’t need to struggle to type their User ID and Password using the remote control to log in to your TV App. With the code-based log-in feature, the end-users need to type a code displayed on the TV App to your mobile app or your website and they can log in. This feature is available out of the box for all TV Apps. There is no option in the Muvi One CMS to enable/disable this feature. However, if you want to disable this feature, add a Support Ticket.

How to Log in to the TV App via the Website

• Open the TV App.
• Click on “Login” (see the below screenshot).

• Either you can scan the QR code displayed on the TV App via your mobile or you can type the URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/tvconnect) of your store on the web browser (see below screenshot).

• Type the “Code” displayed on the TV App on the website and click on “Connect” (see the below screenshot).

• You will be logged in to the TV App (see the below screenshot).

How to Log in to the TV App via Mobile App

• Open the TV App.
• Click on “Login” (see the below screenshot).

• You can view the login “Code” (see the below screenshot).

• Log in to your mobile app.
• Navigate to “Menu” -->“Settings” --> “Connect Your Device”.
• Type the “Code” displayed in the TV App.
• Tap on “Connect”. You will be logged into the TV App.
