How to Create a Ranked Featured Section

Introduction

You can create a Ranked Featured Section to showcase your top-performing or most popular content with rankings from 1 to 10. This is useful for creating sections such as Top 10 Movies, Top 5 Shows, or Top 7 Trending Content on your website or app.

The ranking numbers are displayed along with the content, making it easier for your end users to identify the position of each title in the list.

Adding Ranked Featured Section

• To add a ranked featured section, navigate to “Content Management” --> "Featured Section” in the Dashboard.
• Under “Featured Section”, click on “Add New”.
• Type the “Section Name” (e.g., Top 10 Movies, Top 10 Songs, etc.).
• Select the “Section Type” (e.g., Manual).
• Select the “Content Type” (e.g., Video, Audio, Shorts, Channel, Document, etc.).
• In “Show In”, select “All” to show the featured section in both “Pre-Login” and “Post-Login”. Select “Pre-Login” to show the featured section only on the pre-login homepage. Select “Post-Login” to show the featured section on the post-login homepage.
• Enable “Show Ranking”.
• Under “Add Content Name”, type the content to add to the top 10 list. Then click on “Add”. Keep on adding the content.
• Make sure that the content ranking (1, 2, 3, …, 10) displays in ascending order based on the manually configured content order within the featured section.
• Click on “Save”.
• When end-users visit your website/app, they can view the ranked content.
