How to Publish Your Meetings to Muvi One

    Introduction

The Publish to Muvi One feature allows you to use Muvi Meet to make your meetings available directly on your Muvi One website and apps. Instead of sharing separate meeting links with attendees, you can make your meetings part of your branded OTT platform.

Once a meeting is published, it appears as regular content on your Muvi One platform, with details such as posters, banners, categories, and a frontend URL. Viewers can access the meeting from your website or supported apps and receive reminders before the meeting begins.

Benefits of Publishing Meetings to Muvi One

Publishing your meetings to Muvi One provides the following benefits:

    • No separate meeting links: Users can discover and access meetings directly from your Muvi One platform.
    • Unified content experience: Published meetings appear alongside your regular video content.
    • Monetization: You can use Subscriptions and PPV for meetings where supported.
    • Branded presentation: Add posters and banners to showcase your meetings across web, mobile, and TV devices.
    • Stay within your platform: Attendees can access meetings without being redirected to external pages.
    • Meeting reminders: Viewers can receive reminders before scheduled meetings begin.

    Prerequisites

Before publishing a Meeting to Muvi One, ensure that:

    • You have an active Muvi One and Muvi Meet
    • You have a Muvi One website/app configured.

How to Publish a Meeting to Muvi One

First, you need to create a meeting, and then you can select the option to publish it to Muvi One. There are 2 steps to create a meeting. In the first step, you can add the basic details about the meeting, and in the second step, you can add additional details.

    Step 1:

    • Navigate to “Content Management” --> “Content Library” in the Dashboard.
    • Click on “Add New”.
    • In the “Content Type” select “Meeting” from the drop-down menu.
    • Click on the “Edit Icon” on the top to add the meeting title.
    • The “Permalink” will be automatically generated.
    • Select a “Category” from the list. You can select multiple categories for the meeting.
    • Click on “Save and Continue”.
    • The meeting will be created.

    Step 2:

    • Click on the “Design” tab.
    • In “Poster”, upload a poster for the meeting. It will appear on the website/app. You can add the poster for Web, Mobile, and TV apps.
    • In “Banner”, upload a banner for the meeting. It will appear on the website/app.
    • Click on the “Monetization” tab to add monetization for the meeting.
    • You can add “Subscription” or “PPV” monetization for the meeting.
    • Click on the “Security” tab to add a “Password” for the meeting. The participants will use this password to join the meeting.
    • Click on the “Advanced” tab.
    • Select “Auto Record” if you want the meeting to be recorded automatically in the background. After the meeting, you can access the recording from the “Assets”.
    • Enable “Auto Livestream” to automatically start livestream when the meeting begins.
    • Select “Event Reminder” if you want to set a reminder for the meeting. Participants will receive the reminder before the meeting. You can set the reminder in “Minutes” (e.g., 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
    • You can enable/disable the “Default Participant Permissions”.
    • Under “Related content”, you can relate the livestream to other VOD or meeting content.
    • Type a story/description about the meeting.
    • Add the “Search Tags” for the meeting.
    • Under “Time Zone”, select your time zone from the dropdown menu.
    • Type the “From” and “To” time of the meeting.
    • Select the option “Publish to Muvi One Website/Apps”.
    • Click on “Save & Publish”.

Accessing Published Meetings on the Frontend

Once published, the meeting becomes part of your Muvi One content experience. Users can discover and access it through the website or supported apps without navigating to a separate player page. The meeting can be displayed with its configured poster, banner, category, and frontend URL, like other content available on your platform.

    • When the end-users visit the website/app, they can view the meeting under the meeting category.
    • They can join the meeting by clicking on the “Join Meeting” button.
    • They will be asked to purchase the meeting if it is monetized.
    • The end-users can also set reminders by clicking on “Remind Me”. They will get a reminder before the meeting starts.
