Introduction

You can personalize your website using the “Code Editor” present inside the Visual Designer (VD) console, where you can write code and modify different sections of your site. The Code Editor is accessible directly from the Visual Designer page.

Using the Code Editor

• To access the Code Editor, navigate to “Website & Apps”-->” Templates” in the CMS.
• Click on the “Website” tab.
• Under the active template, click on “Customize”.
• The Visual Designer (VD) will open.
• Click on the Code Editor icon “<>”.
• You can view all the folders on the left-hand side.
• Expand the folders to view the files, and then you can make changes to these files.
• Click on “Save” in the top right corner to save the changes you have made to the code.
• You can also change the dark theme to a light theme and change the code layout.

Downloading the Template Codes

• You can download the entire Template Codes by clicking on the “Download icon” in the Code Editor.
• Click on “Download ZIP” to download the code in a Zip folder.
• The template codes will be downloaded to your computer in the Zip folder.
• You can unzip the folder and access the template codes.
• You can make changes to the template codes and upload them back to the code editor.

Uploading the Template Codes

After making changes to the template codes that you downloaded, you can upload the ZIP folder to the CMS in the VD console.

• Click on the “Upload Icon” in the VD console.
• Click on “Choose File” to select the Zip folder.
• Click on “Upload”.
