Introduction

This article explains how to integrate third‑party marketing, analytics, and tracking scripts (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, custom ad trackers, etc.) into your Muvi One website using the Marketing Integrations section in the Muvi CMS.

Supported Use Cases

You can use this option to:

• Add third‑party analytics scripts
• Integrate marketing and ad tracking pixels
• Insert custom JavaScript provided by external tools
• Track user behavior, conversions, and campaign performance

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• The script code provided by the third‑party marketing or tracking tool

Integrating Other Marketing / Tracking Scripts

• Navigate to “Marketing” -->” Marketing Integrations” in the CMS.
• Under “Marketing Integrations”, on the right-hand side of “Other Marketing / Tracking Scripts”, click on “Add New Script”.
• Type the “Track Name” (e.g., Facebook Tracker).
• Select the “Location” of the page where you want to add the script (e.g., Below, Above).
• In “Tag”, select “Body” or “Head” where you want to place the script.
• In “Code”, paste the code that you copied from the third-party source.
• Click on “Save”.
• You can repeat the process to add another script. Multiple scripts can be integrated into the CMS.
• You can also “Edit” or “Delete” the scripts.

Verifying the Integration

To confirm the integration:

• Use browser developer tools (Console / Network tab)
• Check real‑time analytics or the dashboard in the third‑party tool
• Use browser extensions (e.g., Tag Assistant, Pixel Helper)

Best Practices

• Add only trusted scripts to avoid security risks
• Avoid adding duplicate tracking codes
• Test scripts in a staging or test environment before production
• Monitor website performance after adding scripts

Important Notes & Limitations

• Muvi is not responsible for the data accuracy from third‑party tools
• Incorrect or broken scripts may affect website performance
• Some scripts may require cookie consent depending on regional compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
