How to Add PPV Pricing

Introduction

Pay Per View (PPV) allows you to charge your end-users a one-time fee to access specific content. With PPV enabled, users can purchase and watch individual video and or audio content. This article explains how to enable PPV in your monetization settings and add a PPV price for your content.

How to Enable PPV

Before you can add PPV pricing to any content, you must enable the PPV feature from the monetization settings.

• To enable PPV, navigate to “Monetization” à “Settings” in the CMS.
• Click on the “Monetization Settings” tab.
• Enable “PPV”.
• Once PPV is enabled, you can view it under the “Pricing” menu.

How to Add PPV Pricing

• To add PPV pricing, navigate to “Monetization” -->” Pricing Plans” in the CMS.
• Click on “Add PPV”.
• Type the “Plan Name” (e.g., Standard, Premium, Basic, etc.).
• Type a “Plan Description” (e.g., Basic plan with one month validity).
• Type the plan “Price” (e.g., 5, 10, 15, etc.). The price will be added to the default currency.
• Click on “Add More Prices for Specific Country” if you want to add the content price in multiple currencies.
• Type the currency value and select the currency.
• Under “Restrictions”, select the option “Access Duration” if you want to set an access duration for your content.
• You can set the access duration for hours, days, or months.
• Type the number of hours, days, or months (e.g., 1, 3, 5, 8, etc.) and then from the drop-down menu select hours, days, or months.
• Click on “Save”.
• The PPV pricing will be added.
• Repeat the process to add more PPV pricing.
• You can edit the pricing by clicking on the “Edit” icon.
• You can disable the pricing by clicking on the 3 dots on the right side of the plan and clicking on “Disable”.
