How to Reset Your Website Template in Muvi One

Introduction

In Muvi One, you can easily reset your website template to restore it to its original state or switch to a new design. Resetting your website template can help if you've made changes that you want to undo, or if you wish to apply a fresh layout. This straightforward process can be done directly from the Dashboard. Whether you're troubleshooting design issues or want a new start, this feature gives you the flexibility to easily make changes.

You can either "Fully Reset" (this resets everything, including the database changes) or you can go for the "Style and Design Reset" (this only resets visual changes like CSS, Visual Designer (VD), and BYOD adjustments).

How to Reset the Template

• To reset the Template, navigate to “Website & Apps”-->” Templates” in the Dashboard.
• You can view the active/current template for your website.
• Click on "Reset".
• In the pop-up, you can select "Reset to Last Published" (this discards all current draft changes and restores the template to the last published version. The live template will be unchanged)
• Or you can choose "Reset Design Only" (this only resets visual changes like CSS, Visual Designer (VD), and BYOD adjustments, keeping the data configurations unchanged).
• Or select "Reset to Default Template" (Restores the template to its original default state. All customization, including the data level changes, will be removed).
• Click on "Confirm".
• When asked for confirmation, click on "Confirm" again.
• The template will be reset.
