Sharing Your Video Content Using the Sharable Link

Introduction

Muvi TV provides a versatile platform for creating and managing various types of video content, including movies, short videos, documentaries, and live streaming via the HLS URL.

Content Management Features:

Metadata: Add relevant information about the video content.
Visuals: Upload banners and posters.
Uploads: Upload video files.
Pricing: Set pricing to sell your video content via the Paywall.
Shareability: Share video content with end-users via a shareable link.
Visibility: Content will also be visible on the Muvi TV website.
Editing and Deleting: Manage your video content within the Muvi TV CMS, allowing you to edit or delete as needed.

This platform provides a comprehensive content creation and management experience, ensuring you can monetize, share, and control your content effectively.

Adding Your Video Content

To add your video content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the CMS.
Click on “Add Content”.
In “Content Type”, select "Video”.
Type the video “Content Name” (e.g., Avengers, Spiderman, etc.).
The “Permalink” will be generated automatically.
Type a “Description” about the video.
In “Paywall Price”, select “Currency” from the drop-down (select it carefully as once you save the currency, it will become your default currency and you cannot change it).
Type the “Price” of the content (e.g., 2, 5, 10, etc.).
In “Visibility”, select “Public”, if you want to publish the video on the Muvi TV website.
Select “Unlisted”, if you don’t want to publish it on the Muvi TV website. You can only share the video content via the shareable link.
Under “Primary Media” click on “Add File” to upload the video file for the content.
Under “Media Type”, select "Video” from the drop-down menu.
You can upload the video file from the “Asset Library” if the video file is already uploaded to the asset library.
To upload the video file from your computer, click on the “Folder Icon”. You can also drag and drop the video file to the folder icon (Supported file: (mp4, wmv, mov, flv, vob, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp, mpg, mxf).
Click on the “Poster” tab to upload a poster for the video content.
Click on “Add File” to upload the image. You can upload it from the “Asset Library” (if you have already uploaded it to the asset library) or from your computer. Resolution: (288X424) px, (Supported file: (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, svg, jfif ).
Click on the “Banner” tab to upload a top banner for the video content.
Click on “Add File” to upload the image. You can upload it from the “Asset Library” (if you have already uploaded it to the asset library) or from your computer. Resolution: (1600X480) px, Supported file: (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, svg, jfif ).
Click on “Save and Publish” to save the video content details and publish it on Muvi TV.
The “Encoding” process will be started. Once the encoding is completed, you can share the content with your end-users.
You can click “Save as Draft” if you want to save the content as a draft and publish it after making some changes. If you save the content as a draft, it will not be published on the Muvi TV website.

Note: Public visibility cannot be selected as you are currently in Paywall test mode. Enable live mode in Paywall to list your content on Muvi TV.

Sharing Your Video Content Using the Sharable Link

You can directly share your video content with your end-users using the sharable link. You can get the sharable link of the video content from the Muvi TV CMS.

To get the shareable link, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library”.
In the Content Library, you can view all your video content.
Click on the “Share” button on the right-hand side of the content.
The sharable link will be generated.
Click on “Copy” to copy the sharable link and share it with your end-users.

Editing Your Video Content

You can edit your video content in the Muvi TV CMS. You can edit the content name, permalink, description, visibility, primary media, poster image, and banner image.

To edit the content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library”.
In the Content Library, you can view all your video content.
Click on the 3 dots (More) on the right-hand side of the content you want to edit.
Click on “Edit”.
Make the necessary changes and then click on “Save and Publish”.

Note: You cannot change the price of the content or the default currency.

Deleting Your Video Content

You can delete the video content from Muvi TV’s Content Library. Once the content is deleted, it will not be visible on the Muvi TV website.

To delete video content, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library”.
In the Content Library, you can view all your video content.
Click on the 3 dots (More) on the right-hand side of the content you want to delete.
Click on “Delete”.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the content.
