Introduction

You can integrate your existing Shopify store into Muvi and showcase the products/items that you have already added to your Shopify store on your Muvi website. You can also link the products/items to multiple digital contents (video/audio) in Muvi and allow your end-users to buy these products from your Shopify store. When the end-users will click on a product/item linked with digital content to purchase that product/item, they will get redirected to your Shopify store and purchase the product/item from Shopify.

How to Get Shopify Access Token

To integrate your Shopify store into Muvi, first, you need to get the “Access Token” from your Shopify store.

1. To get the “Access Token”, log in to your Shopify store.
2. On the left-hand side menu click on “Apps”.
3. Click on “App and Sales Channel Settings”.
4. Click on “Develop Apps for Your Store”.
5. Click on “Allow Custom App Development”.
6. Click on “Create an App”.
7. Type the app name and click on “Create App”.
8. Under “Overview”, click on “Configure Admin API Scopes”.
9. In the search bar type “Products” and then select “write_products” and “read_products”.
10. On the top right corner click on “Install App”.
11. In the pop-up click on “Install”.
12. Under the “API Credentials” tab click on “Reveal Token Once”.
13. Copy the “Access Token”.

How to Get Store Name

You need to get the “Store Name” from your Shopify store.

1. To get the “Store Name”, log in to your Shopify store.
2. On the left-hand side menu click on “Apps”.
3. Click on “App and Sales Channel Settings”.
4. You can view the “Store Name” in the top left corner.
5. Copy the “Store Name” (copy the name before “myshopify.com”)

Integrating Shopify into Muvi

1. Login to the Muvi CMS.
2. Navigate to “Marketplace” -->” Manage Apps”.
3. Click on “Activate” under “Shopify”.
4. Click on “Yes”.
5. Paste the “Store Name” that you have copied from the Shopify store.
6. Paste the “Access Token” that you have copied from your Shopify store.
7. Click on “Connect”.
8. You will see a confirmation “Shopify is connected successfully”. Click on “Ok”.
9. Once Shopify is connected, automatically all the products/items that you have already added to Shopify will be synced to Muvi and will be displayed under “Physical Goods” in the CMS Content Library.

How to Link Shopify Products/Items to Digital Content

You can easily link the products/items that are synced from your Shopify store into Muvi Content Library to any video/audio content. When your end-users will click on the product/item to purchase, they will get redirected to your Shopify store to complete the transaction.

• Log in to the Muvi CMS.
• Navigate to “Manage Content” --> “Content Library” in the CMS.
• Click on the filter and under “Content-Type”, select “Physical” from the drop-down.
• Click on “Edit” on the right-hand side of a product/item that is synced from your Shopify store.
• In the “Item Type” field, select “Link to Content”.
• Search the video/audio content that you want to map with the product/item.
• Scroll down and click on “Update”.
• The Shopify product/item will be mapped with the video/audio content.
• When the end-users will click on the product/item on your streaming website, they will get redirected to Shopify to purchase the product/item.
