Introduction

In the ‘Asset Library,’ you can upload and store video files, audio files, image files, and other files like PDFs that you can use to create video and/or audio content. You can upload the video file extensions including mov, flv, vob, mp4, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp & mpg. (We recommend uploading .mp4 videos to make the encoding process faster). For audio, you can upload file extensions including, mp3, wav, acc , aiff, m4a, m4b, m4p, dvf, raw, wma, webm, flac, and Ogg Vorbis. For images, we support.jpeg, .gif, .png, and .svg images. However, if you are uploading .svg images then you will not be able the crop the image, and few old browsers do not support this image format)

How to Upload Video Files

To upload video files to ‘Asset Library’, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Asset Library” in the CMS.
Under “Asset Library”, click on the “Video” tab.
Click on “Upload Video”.
Click on “Select Files from Your Device” to upload the video or drag and drop the video from your device.

Note: The maximum video file size you can upload is 10 GB. If you want to upload video files of more than 10 GB, then you can use the "Bulk Upload" feature.

How to Upload Audio Files

To upload audio files to ‘Asset Library’, navigate Content Management” -->” Asset Library” in the CMS.
Under “Asset Library”, click on the “Audio” tab.
Click on “Upload Audio”.
Click on “Select Files from Your Device” to upload audio or drag and drop the audio file from your device.

Note: The maximum audio file size you can upload is 10 GB. If you want to upload audio files of more than 10 GB, then you can use the "Bulk Upload" feature.

How to Upload Images

To upload images to ‘Asset Library’, navigate to Content Management” -->” Asset Library” in the CMS.
Under “Asset Library”, click on the “Image” tab.
Click on “Upload Image”.
Click on “Select Files from Your Device” to upload an image or drag and drop the image from your device.

Note: The maximum image file size you can upload is 10 GB. If you want to upload image files of more than 10 GB, then you can use the "Bulk Upload" feature.

You can use the ‘Search’ and ‘Filter’ option in the ‘Asset Library’ to find the specific ‘Video’, ‘Audio’ and/or ‘Images’.

To search video, click on the “Videos” tab and type the video name in the search.
To filter videos, click on the filter and select different options, i.e., “Video Duration”, “File Size”, “Mapped to Content”, “Uploaded In”, “Sort By”.
To search audio, click on the “Audios” tab and type the video name in the search.
To filter audios, click on the filter and select different options, i.e., “Audio Duration”, “File Size”, “Mapped to Content”, “Uploaded In”, “Sort By”.
To search image, click on the “Images” tab and type the video name in the search.
To filter images, click on the filter and select different options, i.e., “Image Size”, “Sort By”.

How to Bulk Upload (Video Files, Audio Files, Image Files)

You can bulk upload your video files, audio files, and image files to the “Asset Library”. You either separately upload the files or you can upload different files altogether. For example, you can only upload the video files or audio files, or image files separately, or you can upload multiple video, audio and image files altogether and the files will be automatically stored in their respective library.

To bulk upload, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Asset Library” in the CMS.
Click on the “Bulk Upload” tab.
Enable “Bulk Upload”.
You can view the “FTP” account details to bulk upload.
Login to the FTP account with the FTP account details provided in the CMS. You can install FileZilla and then log in to it using the FTP details provided.
After connecting to this FTP account, you can upload your video files/audio files/image files.
Then, you need to click on “Sync to Library”.
Then all your video files/audio files/image files will be automatically uploaded to the "Asset Library".
Through this method, you can connect to this account from multiple computers at the same time and upload your assets.

Note:

For Video, Audio, and Image file upload, you can use the same FTP account.
You can upload as many videos as you want. There is no limit to the number of videos.
Please upload only the video/audio/image files to the FTP server; do not upload sub-folders into the FTP; all files should be in the root directory of the FTP.
After uploading, you need to make sure that the file has been uploaded successfully and cross-check the video/audio/image file size after uploading the same content in the FileZilla.
If the file gets corrupted during the upload, retry uploading the file without deleting the corrupted uploaded file. Then it will ask for the option to resume.
Do not upload any other video file format except mov, flv, vob, mp4, m4v, mkv, avi, 3gp & mpg to FTP.
Filename must be alphanumeric (in the English Language only) and it shouldn't contain any space or special characters (i.e. !, @, $, &, *, except "_" and "-") (For Example, the file name should be like spiderman_HD-1084.mp4)
if filename spiderman HD 1080p.mp4 then rename it to spiderman_HD_1080p.mp4. In place of white space, use underscore _ or hifen -
Please play the video/audio on the browser before uploading it to FTP.
We recommend you maximize the uploading limit to up to 10 video/audio/image files at one time.
Please wait 10-15 minutes for uploading the next bunch of files.
Once all files are successfully uploaded to the FTP server, go to "Content Management " --> "Asset Library" in your CMS and click on "Sync to Library" to start transferring the video/audio/image files to your Asset Library.
Once the files (video/audio/image) are synced from the FTP server to the Asset Library, all the files in the FTP server will automatically be removed after few hours

How to Download Assets (Video, Audio, Image, File) to Your Device

After uploading all your assets (video files, audio files, image files, files) to the Asset Library, you can also download them to your local device when it is required. You can only download a single video/audio/image/file at a time.

To download a video file, navigate to “Content Management” -->”Asset Library” in the CMS.
Click on the “Video” tab.
Click on the “Download Icon” on the right-hand side of a video to download it.
The video file will be downloaded to the hard drive of your local device (i.e., Laptop, Desktop)
To download an audio file, click on the “Audio Tab”.
Click on the “Download Icon” on the right-hand side of an audio file to download it.
The audio file will be downloaded to the hard drive of your local device (i.e., Laptop, Desktop)
To download an image file, click on the “Image Tab”.
Click on the “Download Icon” on the right-hand side of an image file to download it.
The image file will be downloaded to the hard drive of your local device (i.e., Laptop, Desktop)
To download a file (PDF), click on the “File Tab”.
Click on the “Download Icon” on the right-hand side of a file to download it.
The file will be downloaded to the hard drive of your local device (i.e., Laptop, Desktop)

How to Delete Assets (Video, Audio, Image, File) from the Asset Library

You can delete any video/audio/image/file that you have already uploaded to the Asset Library. You can use the search and filtering option to find a specific video/audio/image/file and then delete the file. You can only delete a single file at a time.

To delete a video file, navigate to “Content Management” -->”Asset Library” in the CMS.
Click on the “Video” tab.
Click on the “Trash Icon” on the right-hand side of a video file.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the file.
To delete an audio file, click on the “Audio Tab”.
Click on the “Trash Icon” on the right-hand side of an audio file.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the file.
To delete an image file, click on the “Image Tab”.
Click on the “Trash Icon” on the right-hand side of an image file.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the file.
To delete a file, click on the “File Tab”.
Click on the “Trash Icon” on the right-hand side of a file.
When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete the file.
