Changing the Position of “Terms of Use”

Introduction

Terms of Use and Usage Policy is an important part of any website. Here in this section, you can define various conditions for your subscribers or users on how they will use your website and to what extent they are eligible to use some special features of your website. You can also use Terms of Use to grant users rights to use website materials, to disclaim liabilities or to satisfy legal disclosure obligations. You can easily add Terms of Use to your website through the Muvi CMS.

How to Add Terms of Use

• Go to “Website” -->” Terms of Use” in the CMS.
• In the Content, box type the contents of your Terms of Use. 
• After composing your Terms of Use click on “Save and Continue”. 

How it Appears on Your Website

The "Terms of Use" appears on the registration page. 

• Click on the "Preview" button in the CMS to go to your website.
• Then, click on the "Register" button. 
• By default, it appears at the end of the registration page (Just above the "Register" button.) Where you have to click on the checkbox "By clicking on Register, I agree to terms"

Changing the Position of “Terms of Use”

If you want to show the “Terms of Use” on the bottom part of your webpage, then you have to create a Static Page for that. (Click Here to see how to create a static page) If you have already created a “Terms of Use” page somewhere you can also attach the link to your static page. You can add it to the footer section of your website by using the Footer Menu option. 

• Go to "Website" -->"Footer" in the CMS.
• Click on "Static Pages".
• Select the checkbox for "Terms & Privacy Policy". 
• Click on "Add to Menu". It will be added to the footer section of your website.
