User Action Analytics Report

Introduction

Our User Action report feature allows you to view and track different user actions on your website. You can view how many users view a specific content for how many hours, the total number of views in a specific period (In a day, week, month or year), when the user logins to your website, what content he/she has searched, on which platform he/she has watched the content (i.e. Website, Mobile Device), etc. Also, you can view the Top Fan List report (most content watched by specific users).

View User Action Report

To view the User Action report, go to “Analytics” --> “User Action”
Under User Action, there is an option to select the time period for which you want to view the user actions.
Click on “Apply”.
You can view a summary of "Total views so far", "Total views last month", "Total hours watched so far", "Total hours watched last month".
Click on “Views”, to see the total number of content viewed by the end-users for a specific period.
Click on “Logins” it will show you the total number of end-user logins for a specific period.
Click on "Searches" to view the contents searched by the end-users for a specific period.
Click on "Top Fan List" to view the details of which user has watched the most number content for a specific period (i.e. the date range you select from the calendar). It shows which user has watched the content more number of times and for a longer duration.
You can also view the graphical representation of the report on the right-hand side of the page.

You can also view other details in the User Action report. Just click on the user actions and you will see the list of user views, content searches, and logins. You can also type the particular user name to view that user’s activity. Type the content name in the search bar to view the number of times that content is searched for or type the email ID of the user to view his/her login history.

Under each section, there are various columns to display different types of values.

Views

User - Shows the first name of the end-user (if it shows "Annonymous" then the user who has watched the content is not a subscriber/registered user and he/she has watched free content. If it shows "User_Embed", then the user has watched the content from the embed link. If it shows the user's name, then the user is a registered user or a subscriber).
Email -Shows the email address of end-users
Content - Which content viewed by the end-users
Date and Time - When the end-user viewed the content
*Duration - For how long the end-user has been watched the content
Platform - On which platform the end-user has watched the content (i.e. Web, Android, iOS)
Type - Content

Searches

User - Shows the first name of the end-user (if it shows "Annonymous" then the user who has watched the content is not a subscriber/registered user and he/she has watched free content. If it shows "User_Embed", then the user has watched the content from the embed link. If it shows the user's name, then the user is a registered user or a subscriber).
Email - Shows the email address of end-users
Keyword - Keywords used by the end-user to search the content.
Category - Type of searches (i.e. Content)
Searches - Number of times the content has been searched (e.g. 1, 2 4)

Logins

User -Shows the email address of end-users. If you click on any particular user's email address, then you can see the details about his/her subscription type, how much money he/she has paid so far, and how many hours he/she has watched content on your website/app.
Login At - Shows the user's logged-in time and date
Logout At -Shows the user's logged-out time and date
IP - Shows the end-user's IP address
Device - Shows end-user's device (e.g. Computer, Mobile, Tab)
Device Details - OS/App version of end-user's device (e.g. Windows, Android Pie, iOS)
Browser/App - Browser/App version of end-user's device (e.g. Edge, Chrome)

Top Fan List

Email -Shows the email address of end-users
Name - Shows the first name of the end-user (if it shows "Annonymous" then the user who has watched the content is not a subscriber/registered user and he/she has watched free content. If it shows "User_Embed", then the user has watched the content from the embed link. If it shows the user's name, then the user is a registered user or a subscriber).
Number of Content Watched - Total number of contents watched by a specific end-user
*Total Watch Duration - For how long the end-user has been watched the specific content
Total Payments - Payments made by the specific end-user to purchase a content
Comments - Comments given by the end-user for a specific content

*Note: The watch duration is recorded in our log when the video is watched by the end-users for at least 2 minutes. The watch duration for an end-user displayed as 00:00:00 in the analytics when the user starts watching a video and just before 2 minutes, he/she either closed the browser/tab or clicked on the back button of the browser or got disconnected from the internet and closed the browser.
