Introduction

Crowd funding feature allows you to raise small amounts of money from a large number of people via Donation. Also, Crowd funding can be used as Crowd sourcing to understand the interest of the audience for the project/venture. You can set a goal for the Donation option you are setting against a content. When users donate for the content using their store credit, Crowdfunding will show how much % of the goal is achieved through the donation.

Enabling Crowd Funding

• To enable Crowd Funding feature, navigate to “Monetization” -->”Settings” in the CMS.
• Under “Crowd Funding”, select the option “Enable Crowd Funding”.
• Then, click on “Update”.

How to Set Donation Goal

While adding Donation for any content, you can set the Donation Goal. That means, you need to mention what is the maximum donation (in Credits) you want to collect from your end-users. This option will be available in Donation when Crowd Funding is enabled.

• Once Crowd Funding is enabled, you will see the option to set Donation Goals while adding Donation monetization for any content (see below screenshot).
• You can also enable the option to receive email notification, when donation goal is reached.

How the End Users Can View Donation Goal

The end users can view the donation goal while donating for a content (see below screenshot).
