Introduction
Muvi CMS allows you to upload different formats of audio files (including .mp3, .wma, .wav, .aac, .flac, .aiff, .m4p, .m4a, .m4b, .webm, .dvf and .raw)by using various methods. You can upload the audio files from your computer, from the Dropbox, from server to server transfer, through FTP (by using FTP method you can upload bulk audio files) or through S3 Sync.
Note:- Muvi doesn’t allow to upload of pirated content. So, before uploading any audio file to your store, make sure that you have the copyright to stream it.
- When you upload an audio file to the Audio Library, it will not be automatically displayed on the front-end to the users unless you mapped it to any content. To know, how to map audio to content click here.

How to Upload Audio Files
There are 5 methods available in Muvi CMS to upload your audio files to the Audio Library.
1. From Computer (Browser-Based Upload)
2. Server to Server Transfer
3. From Dropbox
4. Through FTP*
5. Through S3 Sync (Share Audio Files From Amazon S3 Server)
| *Note: While uploading audio files to the Audio Library, you can also use the "Aspera" tool which is an alternative to FTP and uploads audio files much faster than FTP. |
1. From Computer
- Go to "Manage Content "--> "Audio Library" in your CMS.
- Click on "Upload Audio”.
- Then select “From Computer” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Upload File” to upload the audio from your computer. You can upload as many audio files as you want. There is no limit to the number of audio files)
| Note: When you upload your audio files, you can view their status on your screen. The status window will show how much audio you have uploaded with the progress bar and upload information. Once the audio file is uploaded you can view it in Audio Library. |
